| Corrosion Resistance |
| Very very good corrosion resistance with regard to natural and organic substances, oxidating options, foodstuff, sterilizing answers. Excellent resistance with regard to atmospheric corrosion and dyes. They are subjected to pitting and crevice corrosion in presence of hot chloride options and to pressure corrosion when temperature exceeds 60°C. They do not resist to sulfuric acid options. AISI 302 shows marginally ideal corrosion resistance with respect to AISI 304/304L stainless steels. |
